Whats the best plan of attack at Flamingo pool..

Do you really have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a good spot? Are there certain parts that are better less crowded? I prefer to have the sun mostly.

I am aware of the adult pool as an option however dont really like having to pay to go to my hotel pool. We did get a cabana one day but obviously we cant do that every day?

Any suggetions from people who have stayed there?

Like every pool in the summer, the earlier you get there the better.

If you get there, by 9 am, you should be ok. Although, I don%26#39;t go much in the summer.

We were there last August and will be again next week. We never had any problems at the pool and we usually got down there around 9:00-9:30. It does fill up pretty fast but it was never a problem. We also hung out at the adult pool and there was no fee to do so? Enjoy!

Scare the kids with a mean look.

Check the pool for '; FLOATERS ';

Keep head above water

Watch for kid with funny look on his face.

it was busy during the afternoon, but not so busy that we couldn%26#39;t find chairs. things were pretty quiet in the morning... only a few people were in the pool and there were lots of chairs available.

We were there two weeks ago Mon-Thurs and it was packed everyday. The first day we got there I scoped out the setting sune to see the best areas. The next morning I was down there by 9am and chairs were pretty sparse. Remember, there are people who will come put a towel on a chair, maybe with an old paperback, and not return for many hours. I have no problem appropriating that chair for myself as it becomes obvious what they have done. You just have to know there may be some yelling and swearing involved.

Also, the chairs are so close together you almost have to fling yourself on one - not much side room. Cocktail service is quick but you can also got over to the bar if you want faster. Towels are self serve. Bring you own bottled water unless you want to pay $6 for a bottle of Fiji.

bump 1 more day until pool time

Good Luck All!!

I think I read a recent post that the Flamingo pool opens at 8am; check when you get in - that hour might make all the diff!

I agree with escrowgirl.

If I see a chair with a towel and nothing else, (shoes, shirt, socks, or other personal effects) and the towel is dry and obviously unused, off the chair it goes and It%26#39;s now my chair.

If the chair reserver dosn%26#39;t like it, TFB!

Go down to the pool and order a drink and relax. Then order another drink, and another. Then go gamble your mortgage and car payments and try to flip the funds for partying funds. Then go back to the pool later.

bump...

eta 18 hours until Vegas Baby!

Good Luck All!
