Cheap Hotel
You should try Harrahs. Just got 45 per nite. Right across the street from Mirage where Love is. Was at Harrahs end of May and had to problems. Rooms nice and clean, etc.
Have a good time. I wanted to see Love, but didnt. Now we are going in Sept and there is no show the nites we are able to go.
Bummer!!
Cheap Hotel
Thanks, I will certainly try them out. I do know that LOVE doesnt have shows on the Tuesday or Wednesday as they are off those 2 nights. I did call to find that out. I love Vegas and have not been back since I married in 99 and I am SOOOOOOOOOO ready for a trip there. Thanks again
nana, I think you will really enjoy ';Love.'; The theater cost a zillion dollars and the seating and sound is fantastic. Please do use ';inexpensive'; rather than ';cheap'; as sometimes you get what you hope for. :%26gt;)
You are so right underpar, I apologize for the cheap word. That has happened before and we left the hotel and found another one. I am from England so I can%26#39;t wait to see the show. Thanks
Inexpensive Hotels close to Love and in my opinion the order I would choose to stay in if I had to.

What do YOU consider ';cheap';?
Bump
I saw Love in August. It was a very good show. If you haven%26#39;t gottne the tickets yet- do so as soon as possible. You do not have to sit in the expensive seats. The ';expensive'; seats are fine. I bought the most inexpensive ticket and I could see everything. Just be aware of the fact the emphasis is on the music- not on the acrobatic feats that provide the WoW factor in other CdS shows.
A college professor taught me something I%26#39;ll never forget. One should minimize the use adjectives such as ';not far';, or ';cheap'; or ';big';. Specific words such as ';2 miles';, $100 per night, or 3000 square feet is more useful. Being specific will better enable readers to give valuable information.
I suggest the Casino Royale and Bill%26#39;s, assuming you%26#39;ll be in Vegas on a weekend. Weekend prices tend to be expensive, and these will run about $90 for the Royale, and maybe $150 for Bill%26#39;s. The Casino Royale is directly across the street from the Mirage Volcano.
If your plans take you to Vegas during the week, consider Harrah鈥檚, as they will likely have some between $50-100.
Have fun!
No one mentions this but we stayed at a Motel 6 on Tropicana and it was a very clean, adequate standard room. It was $59/night.
The staff was very attentive to anything we needed, although everything was there we needed. Plenty of towels, etc. There is a nice little restaurant next door with very reasonable rates. The breakfasts were very good in particular. For things we might have forgotten, there was a convenience store on site too.
Although it was just off the strip, in reality it was closer since all you do is open the door and you are outside. Rather than walking down long halls, waiting on an elevator then make your way through a crowded lobby to finally get out the door and make your way to the strip.
We were going to Vegas for the Vegas experience, not the hotel was our main reason for choosing this hotel over others. Its location is within walking distance of most of the better sites on that end of the strip.
I know this is not a popular choice for many people, but for budget minded travelers it is an excellent choice.
