I Keep Saying Southwest is Great!

I know there are some people who don%26#39;t like using Sw for various reasons, but for my husband and I it has always been the best choice fare wise and the airport it flies out of is super convenient for us to use.

I recently booked our next trip to Vegas(Oct27thru Nov2) -I used a free roundtrip I had earned for my flight and bought the other at $298 total- not the best price but it went up $20 after I booked so I was glad I booked when I did.

Well, today at work my DING fare popped up and it showed $96 each way-the only problem was that it was only thru Oct 31 and we were coming home Nov 1-

I called SW to see if I could cancel my free roundtrip, use the credit for 2 one way tix on Nov 1-no problem.

I then cancelled the $298 fare and rebooked 2 one ways out on Oct 27th for a total of $212- the credit is good for a year and I know I%26#39;ll use it- if not, anyone can use it and just pay me for it....

The agent walked me through the process and helped speed it up as i was trying to do it while at work- (kind of a NO NO-LOL)

She was extremely nice and helpful and everything is set-
