Purchasing Barry Manilow Tickets via Hilton site

I went onto the Las Vegas Hilton site to book 2 tickets for Barry Manilow in October. I got 2 brilliant seats on the date I was looking for, and proceeded to purchase with my credit card. However the address for the cardholder is restricting the country options to only about 10 available countries, mine is not included (Ireland). My credit card details cannot be verified and hence I lose the booking.

There is no email address anywhere on the Hilton website to contact them and due to the high cost of phone calls and the time difference I would prefer not to have to ring. I have booked all other tickets on line from every other hotel and have also been able to email these hotels with queries, receiving prompt replies the following day.

Is this the only site I can book tickets directly or does anyone know of another site I can go to to try?

Any other site would tack on far more than the cost of the phone call. I%26#39;ve booked my tickets by phone with them and the call is pretty short, rarely have I been put on hold.

I%26#39;d call and maybe mention the problem with their online system and see if they%26#39;ll give you some other perk for your trouble (like drink coupons or something like that).

Hi,

I had trouble when I booked too for BARRY and LOVE but managed to do it in the end.

Let me have a look and see what it was I did as I can%26#39;t recall at the moment.

I%26#39;ll get back to you.

You are looking for excuses not to call them. International calls aren%26#39;t so expensive these days especially if you use a prepaid calling card. As Dublin is so popular with American visitors there must be many of these around with intense competition between operators meaning very competitive rates. An eight hour time difference isn%26#39;t a huge deal. The box office will be open from 5pm onwards Dublin time.

Also, despite you saying that you got ';brilliant seats';, you can invariably get better ones for any show by calling the box office and actually talking to somebody. The software that online theater booking uses often has some weird ideas about what seats are ';best available';.

If you must book online then go to ticketmaster.com who also handle tickets for the Hilton. Their high fees will however mean it works out more expensive than calling the box office.

I agree 100% with the above posters. I have done it both ways..online and by phone and without a doubt, I get the best seats by calling because they keep looking around. Online, you kinda gotta take what the %26#39;puter throws atcha. Even better, I know someone at Casino Sales at Caesars who remembers me and gets me GREAT seats so, yes, I would definitely call.

You could try www.ticketmaster.com ... oddly enough they sell the tickets there cheaper than through Hilton directly.

Mike Vactioner, yes the tickets are cheaper on ticketmaster but the various fees mean you%26#39;ll end up paying more.

A main floor front ticket purchased thru the Hitlon box office is $198.50 with no additional fees. The same ticket on ticketmaster is $192.50 + $11 convenience charge + $5.05 building facility charge + $2.50 will call (the only option for an overseas customer to receive their tickets) charge. Ticketmaster total per ticket = $211.05 which is $12.55 more expensive than the box office.

Blagger,

You are absolutely right, however, if you look at the price of a balcony ticket the opposite is true.

Prices on ticketmaster.com are:

Balcony Full Price Ticket US $104.50

Convenience Charge US $10.25

Building Facility Charge US $2.75

Will Call US $ 2.50

Total US $ 120.00

Same ticket directly through LV Hilton US $127.00

Mike, Ticketmaster actually have two prices for balcony seats, $121 plus fees and $104.50 plus fees. The more expensive tickets are the same ones that the Hilton sell at $127 (no fees) and the cheaper ones are the seats at the rear of the balcony that are only available thru Ticketmaster and not at all thru the Hilton.
