Drive from Vegas to San Diego

I am planning to visit Vegas in August and then drive to San Diego. Has anyone drove between Vegas-San Diego in past. I was wondering how long is the drive and also if there are any sight seeing to do on the drive?

Drive from Vegas to San Diego

If you want some sightseeing you can drive from LV to Los Angeles to San Diego. With no stops, it would take about 4.5 hours to get to SD from LV.

Drive from Vegas to San Diego

we were thinking of doing that earlier this year. Someone on another site told me it takes about 4 -4 1/2 hours. Do not know of sites to see on the way.

Vegas is about 320 miles from San Diego, so depending on the traffic....about a 5 hour drive...maybe 6 if it%26#39;s a holiday weekend or something. It%26#39;s absolutely an easy drive until you hit the San Bernadino area of California, from then on it%26#39;s 6 lanes each direction of big city freeway traffic.
