NWA...really that bad?

I am booked to fly to Vegas with NWA in September and I%26#39;m starting to worry due to some of the other posts that I%26#39;ve read on this forum are they really that bad? Someone please put my mind at rest!

NWA...really that bad?

As with hotels, the 5% of travelers who have had a bad experience are far more likely to post about it than the 95% who%26#39;ve been more than satisfied.

They%26#39;ve got a good reputation. Relax, it will be fine.

NWA...really that bad?

There was a post on here a few days ago where people were complaining that lots of flights had been cancelled due to a shortage of pilots, I was wondering if there was any truth in this.

This statment may help :)

Straight Outta Compton is one of my favorite albums and inarguably one of the most important and influential albums of the 80s, for better or for worse. ;-)

I had the same worries as you the one time that I flew NWA from the East Coast to California through Minnesota. Flights ended up being just fine.

Every business will have problems and occasionally it will impact on customer service. It is how the company reacts to the problems that determines how good they are.

If NWA do all they say then they are to be commended for recognising and dealing with the problem in a timely fashion.

Thanks Smirk, that must have been what the other posters were talking about.

Any other info in general about NWA especially those that have flown on flights from London to Vegas would be much appreciated including what happen%26#39;s when you initially land in the US regarding immigration, customs, what happens with luggage do you have to check in again or do you do all that in London?

As you can see, very confused, HELP!

I%26#39;m more of a Public Enemy fan, although I do enjoy Ice Cube films, especially while visiting Las Vegas. (I had to add that in case some felt it was off-topic)

LOL Cooter! I did wonder who would be the first to do that.

Cazzmai, this is how your flights will work. I%26#39;m guessing that as it%26#39;s NWA you%26#39;ll be flying via Minneapolis. If that%26#39;s not the case then substitute whatever city it is for wherever I%26#39;ve said Minneapolis.

You will check in your bags at London and they%26#39;ll be tagged thru to Vegas. You%26#39;ll get boarding cards for both flights at this stage. At Minneapolis, after clearing US immigration, you%26#39;ll have to collect your bags and clear customs (this must be done at your first point of call in the US - no exceptions). You%26#39;ll then drop off your bags at some sort of transit baggage desk. As they were tagged thru to LV back in London and you have your Minneapolis - LV boarding cards there%26#39;s no need to formally check in again. Just head to the gate.

Returning home, you%26#39;ll check your bags in at Vegas and not see them again until London.

Thank you Blagger, that really helps. Exactly what I was hoping to find out.
