Excalibur - Luxor - Monte Carlo or I.P

How would you rate the above ? Location doesn%26#39;t matter, since we would probably walk the whole strip on our 3 day stay and I don%26#39;t think we are going to be the room the whole time, so pls. suggest.

Location does not matter, DOES anything matter????

Excalibur - Luxor - Monte Carlo or I.P

Monte Carlo,

Luxor

IP (but the location is better than Luxor)

Excal.

I haven%26#39;t even been in IP before - except through a back door? and up a stairwell...so my ranking may not hold much weight.

Stay at MC regularly and love it there.

My ranking stands as such:

Monte Carlo

Luxor

Excalibur

I.P. - while the location is great - I disliked the rooms.

Monte Carlo Luxor IP Excal.

1. Luxor

2. Monte Carlo

3. Excalibur

4. I.P

Liked the Luxor Tower rooms, stayed there last 2 years. I stayed at the Monte Carlo once it was O.K.. The Excalibur casino is fun and the I.P has a great location.

brownie75, I know from some of your other posts that it%26#39;s your first trip to Vegas. Let me assure you that location most certainly does matter and for a first visit I%26#39;d say it%26#39;s absolutely crucial. I%26#39;m guessing from the options you name that budget is a consideration. If that%26#39;s the case then why not stay at the Sahara or Stratosphere?

Hi Blagger, Yes, its our first trip, I%26#39;ve been told by several people to keep of Strat. and Saraha, I%26#39;m looking for advise and comments on the above four and then will book, sorry if I%26#39;m quite a bother, just trying to make it as perfect and enjoyable as possible.

Will you have a rental car? How ';important'; is the hotel to you?

Indy4192, I won%26#39;t have a rental car, I%26#39;ve been advised not to do one on the first trip, since there is alot to see/do on the strip in 3 days..
