Dining pre show help needed

Hi I%26#39;ve booked myself and my better half Ray Romano tickets (sun 23rd sep) and need help choosing some pre-show food. We%26#39;ve never ventured into the Mirage so not sure if we should be looking at somewhere there or close by.

We dont like too fine dining, more a steak and fries type meal :-) Can anyone suggest somewhere, no real restriction on price (Thank god for the 拢 $ rate at the moment).

Any help would be appreciated.

Happy 4th July btw

Kokomo%26#39;s is excellent.

Samba Brazilian Steakhouse fixed price, will fill you up, not the best of food in my opinion.

Stack, beautiful place decent food.

Casual

Carnegie Delicatessen excellent food, but it is a deli, a famous NY deli.

California Pizza Kitchen, always packed, people love the place, I think it%26#39;s just so,so. Different types of food not just Pizza.

Also consider The Palm between Caesars and the Forum Shops:

I saw Ray Romano in March, the show was awesome. Depending on where you are coming from I think eating at Caesars would be nice- The Palm is known for good steaks as previously mentioned. A favorite spot of mine for Steaks and fries is Daniel Boulud at Wynn but it might not be on your way if you are coming from the south strip. My husband loved the steak and the fries are amazing. Also Bouchon at Venetian has some great fries but it%26#39;s a french bistro. For some huge portions at a good price you could try the Cheescake Factory at the Forum Shops or it%26#39;s sister restaurant Grand Lux at Venetian.

Ooo the deli looks quite nice, been to NY 6 times and I%26#39;ve never dined in a deli so may make it in Vegas instead ;-)

Thanks

pmw, be aware that to really enjoy Carnegie Deli you should be prepared to starve yourself for a couple of days previously and not have any restaurant plans for the next day.

It%26#39;s good but there%26#39;s a LOT of it!

Try KAHAUNAVILLE, at the T I, next door.

Decent food, Decent prices, walking distance to show.

or

DENNYS restaurant across the street , next to Casino Royale casino.

or

OUTBACK steakhouse, upstairs at Casino Royale casino.

NOTE: best to make reservations in advance--- 5 pm is time to eat before the crowds.

7Or11

We have Outback on our list to try if time permits during our stay, didnt think I%26#39;d have to make reservations for a ';chain'; though?

Will take your advice on eating early though if we manage to fit it in :-)

Blagger,

We tend to only eat a breakfast and a dinner with possible a sandwich in between, thats an english sandwich though :-) not american portions, suspect we%26#39;ll have to share something :-)
