We are two Canadian women planning a trip to Las Vegas around March/April of 2005. We are both married and in our late 30%26#39;s. Ideally, we%26#39;d like to find a slightly above average hotel with good rates. We have both travelled fairly extensively throughout Mexico and the Caribbean.Any suggestions anyone may have would be welcome and appreciated.

If you are looking for a nice place on the strip which is the main street that everything is on try the mirage www.mirage.com or treasure island.com
Treasure Island is very nice in the middle of everything and there is a tram so you
do not have to walk everywhere. Treasure Island has nice rooms for the money
and the petite suite is wonderful with two bathrooms that are deluxe and a living room
area. The rooms are done in a very nice gold and cream colors very expensive
looking. Sometimes Treasure Island offers special pricing on there suites so check
them out. Their suites are the lowest you will find for what you get. The hotel has a
spa which is great and the casino is nice and everything easy to find. The Mirage hotel
is next door and next to that is Caesars Palace. The buffet is the only thing that is just
ok I would eat someplace else. The pool area is nice for lying in the sun but the pool
is not deep but they do have an outdoor pool bar and you can drink while sitting in
the water which is nice. The Mirage hotel is equally nice but alittle more expensive.
Good Luck

Flamingo hilton is a great place to stay, you can check in at the airport, which saves a lot of time, ask for a room with a strip view. Their pool is the best on the strip with great cocktail service. Close to Bellagio, Casars, Bally%26#39;s, and a few more. Have agreat time!
Ballys has a great location and pretty reasonable rates, right next to Paris. Great buffet! Also, Bellagio is just across the street. I would consider Flamingo too and have stayed there, and thought it was a great hotel. Although, looks like they%26#39;re having problems this past weekend with people getting the flu. I%26#39;m sure though that it will be just fine in March and April next year!
