Has anyone been lately. The reviews on TA are from %26#39;06. I know the view is supposed to be good for DT but is the food good. Do you need reservations? What table should we ask for etc... How does it compare to Hugo%26#39;s as far as value. I know everyone loves Hugo%26#39;s but Is it better value wise? In other words is Hugos worth the extra $100 bucks or not?

Center Stage at Plaza
Check out the bathrooms at The Plaza and then decide if you want to eat there. I would not eat anywhere that had a filthy bathroom and a foul-smelling hotel.
Center Stage at Plaza
Of course everybody here is going to say go to Hugo%26#39;s! It%26#39;s supposed to a better, more expensive, fancy schmancy restaurant! For me, I would much rather prefer the Center Stage. MUCH more reasonable and the portions are a LOT bigger! They have the biggest and one of the cheapest prime rib in town! I haven%26#39;t been there since last year either, so I don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s changed.
I agree! Center Stage is a great place! I have not been there since last year either. You really can%26#39;t compare it to Hugo%26#39;s though. As stated, Hugo%26#39;s is a fancier place and of course, also way more expensive!
For the price, Center Stage is great...if you want a window seat overlooking the Fremont St lights, call for a reservation. They dim the lights, and pipe in the music for the shows.....And, they have their own bathrooms that have always been clean. I would only spend the extra money for Hugos if I won it somewhere!!
I am going to bump your message. My husband and I will be staying at the Golden Nugget week and I have been contemplating whether or not to eat there. If any TA people have eaten there recently, please let us know.
Thanks! Five days to VEGAS!
The question is really why are you thinking of eating here?
Price, quality, word of mouth??????????
There are better places to eat Downtown.
Not everyone loves Hugos, the place has been there for year%26#39;s it%26#39;s decent, it%26#39;s not a biggie as it once was in it%26#39;s glory days, now it lives on reputation and on the TA forum.
I realy dont think Hugos would be $100 more.
Center Stage is alot less expensive than Hugo%26#39;s, and the bathrooms upsatirs where the resturaunt is is spotless...
Completly different clientel than patronizes the casino.
The view of the light show is great, and I%26#39;ve gotta recommend the filet!
The Plaza STINKS, period.
Best Place To Eat Downtown Las Vegas: Hugo%26#39;s
Best Place To Eat Downtown Lockhart: Black%26#39;s BBQ or Smitty%26#39;s Market.
What stinks about the Plaza? Is it the food, service, etc.? I seriously would like to know.
Thank you =)
Just walking in that place it smells like a homeless shelter. No offense but thats just my opnion. I thought the Center Stage had decent food and yes, a fabulous view of the FSE but I wouldn%26#39;t eat there again or really recommend it to anyone.
