Casino hopping

We have rented a car and are going to do some casino hopping. Already plan on spending most of our time on the strip and downtown. However for at least one day we want to stop into a few away from strip/downtown. Any suggestions for casino%26#39;s south of the strip or any %26#39;must do%26#39;s%26#39; or %26#39;don%26#39;ts%26#39;??

Since U already know about the casinos, south of the strip, why ask us.? Just drive too them, they are glad to take your money.

There are more than few that you can visit (most better than DT casinos).

South Point, Orleans, Rio and Palms (Must see near the strip)

Red Rock Casino - fantastic resort, North West of the strip)

Green Valley ranch - Great resort, South east of the strip

Also, lake Las vegas is a great place to visit for half a day or a full day

Green Valley Ranch, beautiful place away from the hustle and bustle, about 25-30min drive and Red Rock, while out this way take in JW Marriott Resort, Spa %26amp; Golf resort, the others I would skip.
