Night clubs/lines/cost???

We are going to be in Vegas July 7-10 and are planning on going to some clubs on Saturday night. It is two couples 20s/30yrs. We would like to see Playboy/Rain/Ghostbar/Moon and maybe Studio 54. This really is just more to say wev%26#39;e been there. Is it necessary to buy front of the line passes ($60 for all Palm clubs)? If we buy that, then how much would cover be? If we were to get there early would there be less of a line?

not sure about that... but i%26#39;ll give you a tip the next time you go with girls only... we went to studio 54 for my bachelorette party (it was our first stop of the night) and the line was all the way out the door of mgm... my gf said ';i know how we can bypass this';... so we walk past the VIP line like we are going to leave and not go in and the bouncer was like ';where are you girls going... do you want to come in?'; and we said sure... he opened up the vip rope and let us in... no cover, no wait... we got inside and there was NO ONE inside!! despite the line out the door!! we did the same thing at LIGHT in Bellagio and a couple other places...

I have read in my guide book that paying for front of the line is not a good idea. it doesnt get you anywhere but the VIP line. (which is also long)

Best bet is paying the VIP cover, and than using the money you would have spent on the ';front of the line pass'; to grease the bouncers hand.

Since you are two couples, ya%26#39;ll might want to consider bottle service. By the time you guys pay for your drinks you combined total is likely to be the amount it would cost to get a bottle anyways! Drink will most likely be 10-15 bucks a pop (or so my book says) combine that together with the savings from not buying front of the line passes and boom. you have enough for table service and more certainity that you are gonna get into those clubs. Make you reservations today for bottle service!
