The weather is OUT OF CONTROL in vegas!!!

Sooooooo... I was checking the weather on accuweather for next week and everyday its supposedly gonna be between 106 and 114?!?!?!?!?! Thats CRAZY... I%26#39;ve never walked around in weather like that ever... where does everyone hide with weather like that???? In the pools maybe?? rooms with the AC??? That seams unbearable to me. =( I hope I can stand it.

MissBoston, don%26#39;t worry, it is a ';dry'; heat!! LOL Don%26#39;t believe that for a minute, when it is 110 in Vegas with all the cement and asphalt it will feel about 130!! The best place to be is in the cool comfortable, casino!!! The pool would be next choice, but be careful that sun will fry you quickly! Do you strip wondering early in the morning or in the evening once the sun has gone down. We are going in August this year and will probably be dealing with the same temps.

I know it SEEMS unbearable to some - I love it HOT! Can%26#39;t stand it below 60. be careful, hydrate, don%26#39;t overstress.

No, it really isn%26#39;t crazy. I think most people who go in the summer know what to expect- extremely hot weather. People survive very well in that kind of heat. I have been there in July and August and I lived to tell about it. If you go to the pool you have to keep going into the water otherwise the sun will kill you with the heat. You can walk the strip but you have to pace yourself and drink plenty of water and pop into a casino for a rest and a cool drink when you start getting overheated. Having a car with a/c sure does help. You will be able to stand it- don%26#39;t worry.

We%26#39;ve always gone in July/August. We love the heat. We don%26#39;t really hide.

My boyfriend keeps saying it%26#39;s not hot enough! He wants it to get to 50.C / 122.F! :oP Found that kinda temp in Death Valley, not sure it%26#39;ll get quite that hot in Vegas.

I normally go once in the summer and once in the winter.

I definitely prefer the winter weather of Vegas compared to the summer... but I can%26#39;t wait that long to get my Vegas fix!

It does get that hot. The official temp is taken in the shade, but in the sun it gets super hot. Last summer we were on Sahara and the car thermometer said 125. Just go out at night, when it is cooler , like 102, and you will be fine. I think LV looks better at night anyways,
