Boardwalk Casino

I talked to reservations at the Boardwalk and was told that it will be torn down in Jan.,06. to make room for a mega-structure. Just what Vegas needs, there aren%26#39;t enough.Personally, I liked it because it was small and the rooms have been updated and the casino,too. I kinda like the smaller ones.But, I like some of the others,too. Am coming last of Nov. My 3rd. trip since last Nov. Love Vegas!

I think you might be the only one here that is sad to see the Boardwalk close down. I know Fremont Medical Center will be said. There is a big mark-up on the charge for stomach pumping.

C%26#39;mon VM...the ';Ocean Blue'; seafood glop on the buffet line is pretty durn yummy and tastes better coming up than going down...they had a beautiful cocktail waitress in there once (August 4, 1987, she was on a break from the Trop)...And, if you get real drunk and squint, you can convince yourself the cheap facade and cardboard coaster is really NYNY and save yourself a couple blocks of walking.

Yes, with the demise of the Boardwalk and Westward Ho the true aged cheese of the Strip will reek no more.

At the risk of getting abused here, I%26#39;m going to say I like the Boardwalk for gambling and hanging out. (However, I never stayed or ate there.) We often stay at the Monte Carlo but I find myself walking over to the Boardwalk to play. They have the newest (%26amp; I think looser) slots and a more relaxed atmosphere.

of the 3 casinos to close this year key largo(ok),bourbon st(poor), westward ho(great),

the ho is only one i will miss,

will make one las stop in dec. at boardwalk

may stay one night .

with all the deals in dec. there a little high at $35-40. a night . its more not sure how easy in out with car than the extra $15. night over orleans,gold coast, palms etc.

I got room with rate of $25.00 per night 11/27-12/2. Not bad. And everyone there was nice. I stayed there last Nov. Ate at the buffet, could not find fault. Had dinner downstairs, can%26#39;rt remember name of rest. but service was excellant,food great,too. Oh well, as they say, different strokes for different folks. Place has been updated since then,too.Location is good,convient.Well, I can%26#39;t wait to get there.
