Good weather for golf in December Las Vegas?

We stayed last June at Bellagio.....and had a wonderful time.....Now we are planning to visit again next December....but we are not sure about the weather...just for golf, as the rest of the day you are inside the casinos and hotels and really doesn%26#39;t matter if it%26#39;s raining or if it%26#39;s chilly outside.

We had Celine Dion and ';O';...and really enjoyed them very much. Played golf at Shadow Creek which we found very difficult to beat...as a golf course.

It was a thrilling experience as our first visit to Las Vegas....Bellagio hotel was ';Super';, Picasso restaurant incredible.....everything was top notch.....the problem is we wouldn%26#39;t like to repeat in December and don%26#39;t find the place in the same conditions....Anybody can tell if the weather is good for golf, specially for golf, in December? Is it a rainy month? Is it a windy month? We are travelling from Europe and it would be a pity to make it in the wrong month...

Some of my husband%26#39;s family lives in Vegas, and when we go during Christmas, it does get pretty cold for me. I always bring a warm coat when we go there around that time. It can also be windy. When we went there a couple years back during Xmas, I came home with a bad cold..During the day can be cool, but not really warm..Hope this helps..

My experience has shown that during the day (in December), the weather is perfect for golf. If you%26#39;re leaving very early in the morning then you will most definitely be cold, but if you set your tee time for 9:30-10:30AM then it will be very comfortable (it is the desert after all and it does warm up during the day even in December). It will be very dry with lots of static electricity.

I suppose it%26#39;s difficult to tell....but I would like to know what is considered normal weather for December in LV....

If we can play alright starting at 10:30...then it%26#39;s perfect.....it%26#39;s the tee-time I was intended to choose.....

I was in Vegas 2 years ago from Dec 12-14 %26amp; it was cold! Temps were in the upper 30%26#39;sF at night %26amp; didnt warm to 60F until 1pm. The days are very short so you must tee off in the morning so it is definitely ';iffy'; golf weather.

I agree, December weather can be iffy. When I went last year, there was some snow.

I have played golf in Vegas in December many time. It is a little cool, 50%26#39;s and 60%26#39;s after 11:00. If you are from a cool climate, that is warm. Just bring some sweat pants and a shirt if you are sensitive to cool weather.

Static electricity is a product of cool dry air. It is the stuff that makes your hair stand-up on end, or pops when you touch something of a different charge. Nothing to do with lightning.
