Why is it that when in front of the Venetian, there are no porn slappers. But as soon as you step off the property on either end, there is a long line of them..

If the Venetian can keep them off their property, why can%26#39;t any one else.?

Good point about the Venitian although we never noticed it. I do know this has been a court issue and their right to be there has been upheld in court. Although they are not allowed to speak, only hand out their cards. Maybe someone from Vegas can give a better update.

We personally have no issue with them being there and consider it a part of Vegas. We have no interest in their ';wares';, but they are fun to take home as part of the Veags experience.

I have the same question about timeshare sharks, why do the hotels let them bother their guests? You think they would be chasing them off of their property.

Simple answer there... they buy show tickets to ';give'; away and they purchase the space in the hotel. Again an easy ';NO';, that is part of the Vegas experience.

You do not see the porn slappers directly in front of the bellagio, caesars, the wynn, the mirage or several others. their main locations are the aladdin, the new frontier, the old boardwalk. the Monte carlo. maybe up north too.

It could be a matter of who employs them.

And I do not think I have ever seen them out in front of strip clubs.

For that matter, I have never seen them at Red Rock Canyon but maybe//////

They have to be on public sidewalk, and neither Caesar%26#39;s or the Venetian has much of a public sidewalk. They curve inward, forcing you to walk into their property.

slacker hit the nail on the head. It is a question of public sidewalks vs. private propery over which the public has the right to pass (but where the porn slappers have no right to loiter).

Nothing wrong with free porn if that is to your liking. You can get it at any one of the newspaper stands on the corners. I jjust think id cheapens a nice vacation experience to have it shoved in your face like that. And i can%26#39;t understand how the local authorities put up with it when (as with the Venetian) there is a way to prevent it.
