I think the best way to book is at the hotels own website

they seem to have the BEST rates

Quite a lot of them show their calendars with their daily prices

so you can see when the cheapest rates are

I would also say go through the hotel%26#39;s website and/or sign up for their email specials. There was one a while ago for one of the hotels that I got mail from(don%26#39;t remember which hotel now), where you were upgraded to a premium view room or suite and limo pickup/dropoff from the airport for a very good rate.

I have worked directly with hotel, and through travelocity. I have found that working direct with the hotel works best. If you book throught the net on their website, they usually request a deposit, phoning them direct will often get you a better rate and no deposit is required unless you are coming in late. I booked Flamingo in November for 69 per night, found a web special for 55 per night, when I called them, I got the room for forty!

Best Rates as said previosly I think is through the hotel

but do your research on the web then ring them directly

that way you have a person to refere to and you seem to get a better rate

Same seems to go for shows just booked Mystere for New Years Eve

Website had pretty bad seats left, but phoned direct and got much better ones

Also you dont have to pay any handling fees (Micket Master is about $20US)

Remember most Travel sites need you to pay in advance

the full amount plus a handling fee

Goto the following website www.travelaxe.com and download the FREE websearch tool for hotels. This will show you the best deals avaiable through web. Then call up the hotel and work with them. 99% of time, you will get a better price than the best web deal (if you mention what rate you found in web). If they are still unmoved, tell them ';I%26#39;m sorry but I really wanted to stay in your hotel, unfortunately I got a better deal in another hotel (the hotel you mention should be comparable with the hotel you are bargaining with). Now, you get all attention !!!Your call will be tranferred to several different places. Guest Relation manager, Booking supervisor, Hotel reservation manager etc etc will try to win your business with some cheap freebees like free 2-for-1 buffet, match play coupons. Don%26#39;t settle for less ! Hold on until you get the exact price you are looking for !!! It%26#39;s just a time game !
