Venetian with kids

If I am bringing my two teenage kids with me, do I NEED to reserve the room as four people....or can I do two people and get away with it? (I will ask for two double beds)

Venetian with kids

You probably will get away with it but it all comes down to whether or not you want to be dishonest.

I would have thought that as you%26#39;re staying at a top end hotel like the Venetian you would do the right thing and not even consider any other approach.

Venetian with kids

You are SUPPOSED to. However, I doubt every parents are 100% honest everytime when they check in at a hotel.

4 people in a room, that should be fun.

Just be honest...the room will sleep all of you..and there is a couch bed...but don%26#39;t you want towels and stuf....It is Vegas...don%26#39;t be cheap..Slotto

What message are you giving your children%26gt;

When they ask why they can%26#39;t have a room key ,and can%26#39;t stand with you at check-in.

Teenagers are not fools(I had 3 and ran teams with 16-17 teens on them) and they will know you are being dishonest.

Steps of soapbox and walks away.

Either way enjoy your vacation.

If any of your kids are girls the one bathroom scenario sends shivers down my spine.

if you can%26#39;t afford to pay for 4 people at the venetian, move to a less expensive property.

kids that age need their own room

Wow. Didn%26#39;t expect to get bashed, but, well, perhaps you guys have a point. Anyway, I am going there on business, and didn%26#39;t really want to have them in a separate room.....i.e, I want to KNOW where they are...........at all times..........in Las Vegas. I don%26#39;t want to go to sleep at night not knowing if they are in their rooms or not. They ARE teens, not little ones who might think it%26#39;s fun to explore the city in the middle of the night.

And finally, regarding the cheapo cracks, I usually do travel high end, and am doing so in a few weeks down to an all-inclusive in the Caribbean, so you know how expensive those ventures get. And yes, I am paying for two rooms on that trip, but without a car they can%26#39;t possibly venture off property.

Well you still better be on your toes at the all inclusive...a lot of them teens can drink....and there are creeps hanging around...had to really keep an eye on my then teenage daughter...workers came up to her and her friends at the hot tub..and tried some funny stuff...and you are out of the country, and do not have much recorse...just a friendly fyi..from one parent to another...cheers! and sorry about the cheap crack...!

i don%26#39;t know if they have adjoining rooms at the venetian, but they do at many strip properties. i had adjoining rooms for our stay at the flamingo a couple weeks ago. one king bed and two queens. it would be the perfect arrangement for parents staying with two teens. that way they can can their privacy and you can have yours, but insist that they leave the adjoining door unlocked so you can check in on them when you want. the flamingo might not be in the same class as the venetian, but it%26#39;s in the same area and think you would be much more comfortable having a little more space to yourselves even if the turndown service and pillow mints are missing.
