Transportation from airport to hotel

Is it easy to get transportation from the airport to your hotel without booking in advance or should we book something before we leave?

We will be 2 adults and 3 kids with a ton of luggage so a normal sized taxi won%26#39;t be big enough. If we don%26#39;t book in advance, will there be a long line? Anyone got any recommendations of companies we can book in advance with?

There are shuttles, but since there are 5 of you, it would be cheaper to hire a limousine. As for cabs....cost can be from around $13-20 depending on where your hotel is and the route the driver takes. Sometimes there are long queues, sometimes not. However, the lines do move quickly.

Just outside of baggage claim are limousines you can hire on the spot, just check the signs above the doors at baggage claim.

If you want to book in advance...try Presidential limousine. Google to find the info on them.. Also, remember in the US we tip more than UKer%26#39;s do in the UK%26gt;...15-20% in the US for limos and cabs.

Thanks, Gabby. After a ten hour flight I don%26#39;t think we will be in the mood for a shuttle bus experience, so I will check out the limo link you provided. I would feel much happier knowing we have got something waiting for us. Thanks!

I think that hiring a limo company that could provide you with a minivan would be cheaper than hiring 2 taxis and splitting up.

These people should be able to help you, they have vans, and large SUV%26#39;s that will accommodate you.
