Where to watch De la Hoya / Merriweather?

I plan to be in Vegas for the De La Hoya vs. Merriweather fight. I%26#39;ve never been there for a big time fight and I was just wondering if sportsbooks have the fight televised or if you have to buy tickets in advance to watch it somewhere? I%26#39;d appreciate any suggestions anyone has. Thanks.

so you are asking other than being at the fight? it will be closed circuit televised. many hotels will have parties, usually by invite. Call the hotels you are interested in staying and see if they will have this. I think - again, only think - I heard Luxor, MC have invites out. call the big places and ask if someone else doesn%26#39;t have more CC venues.

The fight won%26#39;t be shown in sportsbooks. The only way you%26#39;ll see it is by being invited to a screening or pay to see one. I recall a recent post saying that you could pay $50 to see it at MGM.

Nothing is free in Vegas

closed circuit at 50 bucks or more per person most casinos will have this but may sell out

I bought tickets to the De La Hoya bout last year, and I found it so much more enjoyable than watching it on the screens. I%26#39;d certainly recommend it to others.

tickets to go to the fight are WAYYYYYYY overpriced

lol I don%26#39;t think Pretty Boy would be pleased if he saw you call him Merriweather :)

What about sports bars on or off the Strip - does anyone know if they are showing it? I know that Buffalo Wild Wings here in Phoenix shows PPV fights at times. Are there any places in Vegas like that which might show it? (I know there is a BBW location but I believe it is pretty far from the Strip). Thanks!
