flying over Grand Canyon

Has anybody done grand canyon by helicopter and plane and if so which do you recommend?Any recommendations re particular companies?

me and my mum flew over and landed in the canyon by helicopter last month using sundance company and it was so fantastic!!!! many of my friends who have done it by plane said that they wished they had done it by helicopter, as i dont think that it%26#39;s a very smooth ride by plane!!! it is quite expensive by helicopter - but well worth it!!! it takes about 45 minutes to get there, so you are on it for a long time!! We landed at the floor of the canyon and had a champaign breakfast which was lovely, and a really good opportunity for photos!!! you should definatley do this if your going all the way to vegas!!!! hope this helps!!!!

We did the Grand Canyon Deluxe Overnight trip with Papillon in April. This trip was fantastic and worth every penny spent on it. The flight to the Canyon and back is rather bumpy and if you really are not a good flyer then perhaps think twice about it but if you think you can get through the flight then it is the only way to see the canyon.
